The National Homelessness Law Center is proud to recognize the recipients of our 2026 Human Right to Housing Awards. These distinguished honorees represent a diverse group of advocates, public servants, nonprofit leaders, and legal champions whose work has advanced housing justice, protected civil rights, and strengthened communities across the nation. Through their leadership, advocacy, service, and commitment to ensuring that safe, stable housing is recognized as a fundamental human right, they have made a lasting impact on the movement to end homelessness and expand access to justice. The 2025 Human Right to Housing Awards were held on November 18, 2025 at our DC office. The event honored outstanding leaders raising awareness and advancing solutions for our unhoused community, especially in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling in City of Grants Pass v. Johnson.
