You are (or plan to be) a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (or are sponsored by one) Your mission includes providing housing or other services to end and prevent homelessness Your organization does not otherwise have access to legal representation
What kind of help can IHC pro bono attorneys provide?
Zoning/land use issues Contract issues Tax issues (including 501(c)(3) applications) Employment issues Governance issues (bylaws, boards, fiscal sponsors, etc.)
What is the process to get help from an IHC pro bono attorney?
Fill out the form below to schedule an intake session. At intake, be prepared to explain the issue further and provide any relevant documents, emails, etc. IHC will reach out to our network of pro bono attorneys to try to place your case OR refer you to another organization that can help. This process can take several months, so please contact us as soon as you are aware your organization might need legal help. If we are able to place your case with an IHC pro bono attorney, the Law Center will set up the initial meeting and provide support throughout the representation.
